Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg floury potatoes
  • 400 g tomatoes
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 6 m.-sized eggs
  • ⅛ liter cream
  • ⅛ liter milk
  • 150 g smoked bacon
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Salt
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cut the peeled and washed potatoes into as thin slices as possible. Brush a suitable baking dish with butter and arrange about half of the potato slices on it. Slice the tomatoes and dice the onion, and arrange them on top of the potato layer. Arrange the remaining potato slices on top. Whisk the eggs with the milk and cream and season with salt and pepper to taste. Spread over the layered ingredients. Cut the bacon into thin slices and cover the dish with them. Bake in the oven at 180°-200°C for about 80 minutes.
