Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g potatoes
  • 300 g ham (Katenschinken), diced
  • 1 red bell pepper(s)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 cups sour cream or crème fraîche
  • 1 can of corn
  • 150 g cheese, grated
  • some milk or water
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Boil the potatoes as if they were boiled, let them cool, and then peel them. Slice them and place them in an ungreased baking dish. Deseed, wash, and dice the bell peppers. Peel and chop the onions. Drain the corn and toss everything together, along with the ham, over the potatoes. Place the sour cream in a bowl, thin it with a little milk or water, and season to taste. Then pour it over the potato casserole. Sprinkle with grated cheese and bake in the oven at 200°C for about 20 minutes. If you prefer, you can use crème fraîche instead of sour cream.
