Potato – Cauliflower – Mash with Fried Sausages
The perfect potato – cauliflower – mash with fried sausages recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 medium sized Cauliflower
- 4 medium sized Potatoes
- 50 g Butter
- Salt
- Nutmeg from the mill
- 3 piece Hot dog
- 3 piece Oil for frying
- Wash the cauliflower and cut off the florets, place in a saucepan and simmer with salted water until soft.
- Peel and wash the potatoes, cut in half, quarter and also cook in salted water.
- When both are soft, drain the water, add the cauliflower to the potatoes and mash well with the butter. I didn’t use milk for this because the cauliflower is very wet.
- Season the whole thing well with nutmeg and possibly salt.
- Put the oil in a pan and fry the sausages that I previously cut crosswise in it on both sides.
Serving
- Put the potato and cauliflower mash on the plates and place the sausages on top.
- We had a carrot salad with it, you can find it here in my cookbook 😉
