Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 chicken
- 750 g potatoes
- 6 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp lard
- 1 bay leaf
- oregano
- salt and pepper
- Paprika powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Halve the chicken, wash, and season with pepper, salt, and paprika. Peel the potatoes and cut them into 1/4 pieces. Place them on the ovenproof dish. Season a cup of water with a little salt and pour it over the potatoes. Season again with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with the garlic cloves, lard, 1 bay leaf, and oregano. Then place the chicken pieces on top. Roast at 200°C for 1.5 hours, turning everything over after 3/4 hour.
