Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 500 g onion(s)
  • 30 g fat
  • 1 small can of tomato paste
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • e.g. paprika powder
  • n. B. Caraway
  • ¾ liter broth, homemade or instant broth
  • 4 Mettwurst sausages

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Peel and dice the potatoes. Peel and dice the onions, then finely dice them, and sauté them in the melted fat. Add the tomato paste and diced potatoes and sauté them. Add the spices and broth and simmer for about 35 minutes. Meanwhile, slice the Mettwurst sausages, add them, and simmer for another 10 minutes. Serve the finished potato goulash with a green salad.
