Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 1.8 kg potatoes, waxy
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 250 ml cream (also low-fat cream such as Cremefine from Rama)
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 500 ml milk, low-fat
  • 1 bag(s) of cheese (also low-fat), grated
  • 1 tbsp vegetable broth, instant
  • Nutmeg, grated
  • herbal salt
  • Pepper, white, freshly ground
  • 2 tsp salt
  • e.g. butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

simple and very tasty

Grease a large casserole dish with a little butter. Peel the potatoes and slice thinly. Peel and press the garlic clove. Mix the garlic with the cream, sour cream, sour cream, milk, vegetable stock, and salt in a bowl. Spread half of the potatoes in the casserole dish. Season with nutmeg, herb salt, and pepper. Spread the grated cheese on top. Pour half of the sauce over the potatoes. Arrange the remaining potatoes on top. Season again with nutmeg, herb salt, and pepper. Spread the remaining sauce on top. Sprinkle with knobs of butter, if desired. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for approx. 60-80 minutes. Serve immediately.
