Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 500 g potatoes
- 250 ml cream
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp, dried herbs of Provence
- salt and pepper

Boil the potatoes with their skins on, then peel them. Once cooled, slice them thinly. Finely chop the garlic and stir it into the cream along with the Provençal herbs. Season with salt and pepper. Just before the gratin goes in the oven, mix the potatoes with the cream, then place them in a shallow, greased dish and bake for 30-40 minutes at 175°C. Tip: You can prepare the gratin the day before.
