Onion and potato casserole

Prepare the boiled potatoes, let them cool, peel them, and slice them. Sauté the diced onions in the butter until translucent, dust with flour, and sauté lightly. Deglaze with wine and milk, bring to a boil, then simmer gently for about 5 minutes, then season to taste. Layer the potatoes and onion sauce alternately in a baking dish, then top with the cheese and cream. Bake in the oven at 225°C for about 1/2 hour. It tastes great and is a change from the same old potato gratin.
