Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 kg potatoes
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 egg(s)
- 5 tbsp flour
- 500 g apples
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 100 g butter
Instructions
Working time approx. 35 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 35 minutes
Boil the potatoes, mash them while still hot, and let cool. Add the flour, egg, and salt and knead into a smooth dough. Cut off small pieces and roll them out thinly. Wash and coarsely grate the apples. Mix with sugar and a little cinnamon. Brush each flatbread with melted butter, add the apple mixture, and roll up. Melt the remaining butter in a roasting pan, add the Maultaschen, and bake for about 40 minutes.
