Potato Meat Pie

Preheat the oven to 190°C fan/gas mark 3. Dough: Place the flour in a mixing bowl. Melt the margarine, add the milk to the margarine, and beat in the egg whites with a fork. Add the flour to the flour and knead the dough. Roll out the dough on a floured surface until it is slightly larger than the pie dish. Roll the dough up with a rolling pin and place it in the dish. Press the edges up slightly. Place the dish in the oven for 10-15 minutes. Meat filling: Brown the minced meat in a pan. Add the onions and fry for 2 minutes. Then add all the other ingredients. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Keep warm over low heat. Potato topping: Boil potatoes in water until soft. Drain the water and mash the potatoes with the margarine and milk. Pour the meat filling onto the dough and spread it out. Spread the mashed potatoes over the meat. Sprinkle the grated cheese on top. Bake the pie for about 30 minutes until golden brown.
