Potato pan with cheese and bacon

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g bacon (wammerl), streaky
  • 750 g boiled potatoes (e.g. from the day before)
  • 300 g cheese (Gouda), grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 hours; Total time approx. 10 hours

Dice the streaky bacon and fry in a pan. Peel the potatoes and grate them into the pan. Season with salt and nutmeg and fold in a little flour. Spread the potato mixture over the bacon. Sprinkle the grated cheese over the bacon and fry in the pan over low heat (covering the pan occasionally if necessary) until the cheese has melted. To serve, turn the pan out onto a plate. Serve with a bowl of your choice of salad.
