Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 8 slice(s) Leberkäse, each approx. 4 mm thick
- 4 slices of Emmental or Gouda
- n. B. Flour
- 2 eggs
- e.g. breadcrumbs
- Oil for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Place one slice of cheese between each two slices of Leberkäse. Secure the slices together with toothpicks. Coat in flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs, and fry in a hot pan with oil until golden brown on both sides. Serve with potato salad or mashed potatoes and a salad.
