Ingredients

  • 1,5 kg Potatoes
  • Flour as needed
  • Salt
  • 1 Onion
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  • Peel the potatoes, wash them and drain them well. Peel the onion.
  • Finely grate or grate the potatoes and onion. This works best with the food processor.
  • Salt the potato mixture a little, about 1/2 teaspoon, mix everything well. Do not drain the potato juice. The mass is bound with flour. Now add a little flour 1-2 tbsp and mix until the mixture is bound. If you like, you can also add a few grated boiled potatoes instead of flour to thicken.
  • Now heat the oil in a pan and add the dough spoon by spoon. Fry the potato pancakes on both sides until crispy brown.
  • Sprinkle the finished pancakes with sugar and enjoy with applesauce.
