Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg potato(s), waxy
  • ½ jar gherkins (wild garlic gherkins)
  • 1 ring/s of meat sausage
  • 1 apple
  • 1 jar Miracle Whip
  • 5 tbsp tartar sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • salt and pepper
  • Cucumber juice
  • 6 eggs
  • possibly milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Rest time approx. 6 hours; Total time approx. 6 hours 40 minutes

Boil the potatoes, peel, and slice. Hard-boil 6 eggs. While the potatoes are cooking, mix the dressing with Miracle Whip, remoulade, and cucumber juice. Season with salt, pepper, and sugar. Chop the sausage, apple, cucumber, and eggs into small pieces and add to the dressing. Add the potatoes and let stand for at least 6 hours. If there isn’t enough liquid, add milk.
