Potato Soup, Grandma’s Style

The perfect potato soup, grandma’s style recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 bunch Soup greens fresh
  • 6 size Floury potatoes
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 2 teaspoon Instant broth
  • 250 g Smoked pork belly
  • 4 Pc. Berlin geezer
  1. Peel and clean the soup greens and potatoes, then dice and wash. Put the stock in a saucepan with water, add the soup greens and the potatoes, fry some of the bacon and the onions in butter until crispy. Cut the remaining bacon into large pieces and add to the soup. Let the soup simmer for about 45 minutes. Then add the cooled onions and the bacon, add the sausages to the soup about 10 minutes before serving, let them steep. Tip: I cut the sausages in the plate before eating them, they are easier to eat. Enjoy the meal
