Potato soup with bacon

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 150 g bacon, streaky
  • 2 onions
  • 100 g carrot(s)
  • 50 g celeriac
  • 600 g potatoes
  • 1 liter meat broth
  • 1 tsp marjoram, shredded
  • 2 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Dice the peeled onions and potatoes, the cleaned vegetables, and the bacon. Fry the bacon cubes. Add the onion and sauté until translucent. Add the vegetables and potatoes and sauté, stirring constantly. Deglaze with the meat broth and bring to a boil. Season with marjoram, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Serve, garnished with parsley.
