Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 300 g white bread, stale
- 200 g potatoes, boiled, grated
- 200 g cheese (grey cheese or Tilsiter)
- 3 eggs
- ¼ liter of milk
- Parsley
- Caraway seeds
- Salt
- Butter for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Soup garnish or simply delicious with salad
Cut the bread into cubes and pour hot milk over it. Mix in the cooked, grated potatoes, grate the cheese, and add it. Knead into a dough with the remaining ingredients. Form dumplings and flatten. Fry in butter until golden brown. Serve in vegetable broth or freshly fried with salad.
