Pretzel pancakes with cheese

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 pretzels, stale, sliced
  • 100 ml milk
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 medium-sized onion(s), diced
  • 60 g cheese (Emmental), grated
  • 50 g cheese (Romadur)
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 80 g low-fat curd cheese
  • some clarified butter, for frying
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Place pretzel slices in a bowl. Sauté diced onions in butter, then deglaze with milk. Mix the cheese and pretzel slices, add the quark, milk, and onions. Add the egg, mix, and season with spices. Then fry in hot clarified butter as a pancake. Mushrooms, among other things, go well with this dish.
