Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 75 g powdered sugar
  • 100 g butter
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 75 g skimmed milk powder
  • 30 g powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 15 g butter
  • 3 tbsp milk, low-fat
  • 60 g chocolate

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour

as good as the one with the star in the middle, makes about 20 cookies

First, make a shortcrust pastry from the dough ingredients, roll it out very flat and let it cool down in the freezer, for example, so that it is easier to cut out. Then, mix the skimmed milk powder, powdered sugar, oil, butter and milk to make the milk cream filling. Mix until there are no grains left in the mixture. In the meantime, melt the chocolate. Now cut out 40 round cookies, but make a hole in the middle of 20 of them using a smaller cutter. The cookies need to bake in the oven at 200°C for 8-10 minutes. Be careful! The rings don’t take quite as long as the filled cookies! They should be lightly browned around the edges so that they look appetizing. Now put about 1/2 teaspoon of the milk cream filling on each filled cookie, spread it out a little (this is a bit difficult because the filling is sticky), and then place a hole cookie on top. The holes are then filled with melted chocolate. While these cookies aren’t exactly like Prinzentaler, they’re similar and very tasty.
