Protein Blueberry Cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 6 egg whites
  • 50 g oat flakes
  • 100 ml water, hot
  • ½ bottle of butter-vanilla flavoring
  • 20 g protein powder (whey), chocolate or cream and cookies
  • 1 tsp gingerbread spice
  • 125 g blueberries

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Protein bomb for breakfast or as an afternoon snack

Beat the egg whites in a separate bowl until stiff peaks form. Combine the oats, butter and vanilla flavoring, whey, and hot water until creamy and let cool slightly. Then fold the cream into the beaten egg whites and mix well. Carefully fold in the blueberries and pour the mixture into a silicone mold. Bake the mixture in the oven at 120°C for 40 minutes using top/bottom heat. Let the cake cool completely before eating. This cake contains just under 50g of protein, just 40g of carbohydrates, and about 5g of fat.
