Protein cake

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 10 egg whites
  • 180 g oil
  • 100 g block chocolate (cooking chocolate)
  • 180 g powdered sugar
  • 100 g sugar
  • 260 g flour, non-stick
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 12 tbsp water

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

ideal if you have a lot of protein left over

Boil the water and chocolate, stirring constantly, until the chocolate has melted and a smooth mixture forms. Then stir in the icing sugar, oil, and half the flour. Let it cool slightly until lukewarm, then stir in the rest of the flour along with the baking powder. Meanwhile, beat the egg whites with the granulated sugar until stiff peaks form, then fold in the chocolate mixture. Finally, pour the cake into a greased and floured pan and bake at 160°C (convection oven) for about 1 hour. If you like, you can also make a glaze with about 200g of cooking chocolate and 250ml of cream, but it also tastes delicious as a “dry” cake.
