low-calorie alternative to bread

First, separate the eggs. Then, add the quark, sweetener, and salt to the egg yolks and mix thoroughly. Add the baking powder to the egg whites, which you then beat with a hand mixer until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the egg yolk mixture into the beaten egg whites. Drop the mixture, tablespoon at a time, onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper and flatten them into small flatbreads. This will yield about nine flatbreads. Bake them at 150 degrees Celsius (top/bottom heat) for 20-25 minutes. Check the oven every now and then to make sure they don’t burn. 100g contains approximately 111 kcal.
