Protein-quark spaetzle

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 150 g protein powder Classic, suitable for heating
  • 150 g spelt flour
  • 250 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 4 eggs, size M
  • 100 ml milk, lukewarm
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 3 minutes; Total time approx. 38 minutes

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and whisk until a smooth batter forms. Cover and let rest for 10 minutes. After the resting time, whisk again briefly. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Scrape the batter into the boiling water and cook for about 2 to 3 minutes. Scoop out the spaetzle and keep warm until ready to serve. They go very well with Hungarian beef goulash, for example.
