Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g herb cream cheese 0.2%
  • 2 eggs, size M
  • 20 g psyllium husks
  • 10 g chia seeds
  • 10 g flaxseed meal
  • 30 g cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Flour for the work surface
  • 1 egg white for brushing
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Combine the herb cream cheese, eggs, psyllium husks, chia seeds, flaxseed meal, grated cheese, baking powder, and salt in a bowl and mix thoroughly. Let the dough rest for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). With lightly floured hands, form the dough into rolls weighing approximately 70g. Place the formed rolls on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and cut a crosswise cut across the top. Brush the rolls with egg white and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from the oven, let cool briefly, and enjoy.
