Pudding oats

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 75 g oat flakes
  • 1 liter of water
  • 1 pack of pudding powder, flavor of your choice
  • 200 g natural yogurt, 0.1% fat
  • n. B. Sweetener
  • n. B. Cinnamon powder
  • n. e. flavoring, e.g. B. Flavdrops or baking aroma

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 8 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 8 hours 25 minutes

Bring the water to a boil, then remove from the heat. Stir in the oats and let them swell for about 2 minutes. Now slowly add the pudding mix while stirring and return the pot to the heat. Simmer over medium heat for about 10 minutes. Don’t forget to stir! After 10 minutes, the mixture should have thickened. Add the natural yogurt and sweeten your pudding oats to taste. I like to add bitter almond flavoring or vanilla flavoring, but you can also adjust it to your liking. Now pour the mixture into a container, let it cool, and then refrigerate it overnight. The next morning, you’ll have delicious porridge that has the consistency of pudding and still tastes like pudding. Tip for extra volume: After adding the natural yogurt, you can also stir in some stiffly beaten egg whites. Warning: This will be a huge batch, so if you’re a hungry eater like me, this recipe is perfect. This recipe was inspired by “Lealoveslifting” on Instagram.
