Puff Pastry Breadsticks

The perfect puff pastry breadsticks recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 pack Puff pastry from the refrigerated shelf
  • 2 tbsp Creme fraiche Cheese
  • Salt pepper
  • 1 tsp Medium hot mustard
  • 1 bunch Flat leaf parsley
  • 1 Egg yolk
  • 2 tbsp Milk
  • 1 tbsp Sesame
  1. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C (convection: 175 ° C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Wash the parsley, shake dry and finely chop. Mix the creme fraiche with the mustard, season with salt and pepper.
  3. Unroll the puff pastry and cut into 8 equal pieces. Brush each piece with a little mixed creme fraiche and sprinkle with chopped parsley, roll up each piece. Braid or twist a braid out of 2 rolls and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Brush each braid with egg milk and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for about 17-20 minutes.
  5. Tastes good with salads, soups or meat dishes.
