Puff pastry pudding rolls

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 rolls of dough from the refrigerated counter
  • 1 pack of vanilla pudding
  • 400 ml milk
  • 1 small egg(s)
  • some cinnamon sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

First, make a pudding with the milk according to the package instructions and let it cool overnight, ideally. Roll out the puff pastry on a baking sheet and cut it in half lengthwise. Spread the pudding on each piece of puff pastry. Brush the long side with the beaten egg, fold over, and press down lightly. If necessary, fold over the long side again. Shape the rolls into a snail shape. Brush with the remaining egg and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Bake in an oven preheated to 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 20 minutes on the middle shelf.
