Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 white bread
  • 50 g bacon
  • 1 baked cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp parsley

Cut the bread into a lattice pattern so that a small edge remains at the bottom and the bread stays together. Don’t cut all the way through. Pull it apart slightly on all sides. Cut the cheese into larger pieces and arrange them in the slits in the bread. Fry the bacon in a pan until crispy and melt the butter in the microwave. Mix the butter with the crushed garlic and parsley. Spread the bacon over the bread and fill the slits. Drizzle the garlic butter over the bread as well. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for approx. 20-25 minutes using top/bottom heat, until the cheese is nicely melted.
