Pulled pork quick and easy

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 600 g pork neck
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp barbecue seasoning
  • 200 ml apple juice
  • 200 ml BBQ sauce

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 4 hours; Total time approx. 4 hours 15 minutes

time-saving in the oven, without grill

Sear the pork neck all over in a roasting pan. Remove the meat from the pan and rub it with the sugar and barbecue seasoning. Mix the apple juice and BBQ sauce, add it to the roasting pan, and bring to a boil briefly. Now place the seasoned meat in the sauce and put the lid on the pan. Cook the meat in the sauce for 4 hours at approximately 120°C (convection oven). Do not open the oven or remove the lid from the roasting pan during cooking! After about 4 hours, the meat should be so tender that you can easily pull it apart with two forks or wooden utensils (to protect the pan coating). Mix the meat with the sauce. This recipe is more suitable for smaller portions and when you want to make pulled pork on the fly, or when you don’t have a grill or smoker handy.
