Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 pumpkin(s) (Hokkaido)
  • salt and pepper
  • 150 g bacon
  • 50 g butter
  • rosemary
  • nutmeg
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • Honey

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Hokkaido pumpkin

Halve the pumpkin and remove the seeds and fibers. Cut each half into 4 or 6 wedges and place them skin-down on the baking sheet. Season with salt and pepper. Melt the butter and season with rosemary, chopped garlic cloves, nutmeg, and honey. Cut the bacon into small pieces and mix in. Spread the bacon butter over the pumpkin wedges and bake everything at approximately 200 degrees Celsius (top/bottom heat) on the second rack for about 30 minutes (no fan).
