Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g chickpeas
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 400 ml broth, optionalmore
  • 1 tbsp vinegar, more to taste
  • salt and pepper
  • Sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Total time approx. 13 hours 40 minutes

Soak the chickpeas overnight. Discard the soaking water after soaking. Simmer the chickpeas according to the package instructions for approximately 60-90 minutes. Then drain. Roast the flour in a dry pan until dark brown. Pour in the hot broth, stirring constantly. If there are any lumps, use a blender to help it blend. Add the vinegar and simmer for a few minutes. Season to taste with sugar, salt, and pepper. Serve with potatoes or dumplings, for example. Salad also goes well with this dish.
