Quark and Plum Crumble Cake

The perfect quark and plum crumble cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 800 gr Plums
  • For the dough
  • 125 gr Flour
  • 100 gr Butter
  • 100 gr Sugar
  • 0,5 Pckg Baking powder
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 Piece Eggs size M.
  • For the cream
  • 250 g Quark
  • 1 Pckg Vanilla custard powder
  • 1 Pckg Citro-Back
  • 150 ml. Cream
  • 40 g Sugar
  • For the crumble
  • 100 g Flour
  • 75 g Butter
  • 60 g Sugar
  • 1 pinch Cinammon
  1. Sort the fruit, cut in half and stone.
  2. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C top and bottom heat or 175 ° C circulating air.
  3. Put all the ingredients for the base in a bowl and use the whisk to form a smooth batter.
  4. Grease a 26 cm springform pan and dust with flour.
  5. Pour the batter into the mold.
  6. Now stir together the ingredients for the cream and spread them on the bottom.
  7. Distribute the selected plums on top in a fan-like manner.
  8. Put all the ingredients for the crumble in a mixing bowl and use the dough hook to make crumble. If necessary knead briefly by hand then distribute the crumble on the plums.
  9. Put it in the oven for 45 minutes. Then it’s best to bring it to a safe place, otherwise it’ll be gone faster than it was there 🙂
