Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 500 g quark
  • 250 g sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Make a batter from the first seven ingredients. Using two teaspoons, drop the batter into balls in the hot oil and fry until golden brown. Don’t add too many balls at once, as the batter will still rise and the balls will roll on their own as they brown and cook.
