Quark cake without a base

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg quark
  • 2 packets of pudding powder (vanilla, caramel or chocolate)
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 150 g margarine
  • e.g. raisins or apple pieces or chocolate chips
  • some milk
  • 1 lemon(s), juice and zest (optional)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Beat the eggs and margarine until frothy, then add the quark, followed by the baking powder, pudding powder, and vanilla sugar. Add a little milk if needed, but the batter shouldn’t be too runny. If you like, you can let your imagination run wild. I’ve added various ingredients to the batter, such as raisins, apples, chocolate chips, etc. You should only add the juice and zest of a lemon if you don’t want to add anything else. Bake in the oven for about 45 minutes. Pierce with a wooden skewer until the batter no longer sticks to the cake; then the cake is done. The oven temperature should be 180 degrees Celsius.
