Quark Cake

- First preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. My baking sheet was 35 x 40 cm in size.
- Now add the eggs, sugar and salt to the mixing bowl and stir on the highest level for 5 minutes until frothy. Then briefly stir in the oil and milk on a low setting. Mix the flour with baking powder and mix with the ground poppy seeds just briefly into the dough, also on a low setting.
- Fill the prepared baking sheet or a baking frame with the dough and smooth it out.
- For the quark mixture, stir the quark, eggs and powdered sugar until all the ingredients have combined. Now distribute the quark mixture on the dough and marble a little with a fork.
- Drain the peaches and cut them into slices. Then arrange the peach slices nicely on the dough.
- Bake the quark cake in a preheated oven at 180 ° C for about 40 – 45 minutes on O / U heat.
- After cooling, dust the cake with powdered sugar.
