Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 100 g quark, 0.5%
- 1 egg white
- 30 g corn semolina
- 1 tsp cane sugar
- ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 pinch of salt
- 100 g cherry(s), frozen, or fresh strawberries etc.,
- 50 g sour cream or yogurt
- 1 tsp cane sugar
- 1 shot of cherry brandy or other fruit brandy

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Mix the quark, egg whites, corn, sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Scoop out small dumplings with teaspoons. Let the dumplings simmer in lightly boiling salted water for 8 minutes, then serve with the sauce. Serve with cherries (I only let them thaw slightly) or other berries by puréeing them with cream and sugar. If desired, add a generous splash of fruit brandy.
