Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 eggs
  • 200 g quark
  • 100 ml milk
  • Salt
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 150 g flour
  • 75 g almond flakes
  • 75 g raisins
  • some butter
  • some powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Preheat oven to 180°C fan/convection oven. Separate the eggs. In a bowl, combine the quark with the milk, egg yolks, a pinch of salt, and sugar. Sift the flour onto the quark mixture and slowly stir in. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff, then fold into the quark mixture along with the raisins and almond slivers. Heat the butter in a pan and add the quark mixture; let it set. Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 10 minutes. Then, using two forks, tear the Schmarrn into pieces. Dust with powdered sugar. It tastes delicious with a fruit salad!
