Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g quark
- 250 g flour
- 1 bunch chives, chopped
- salt and pepper
- Clarified butter, for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Knead the ingredients together to form a dough, roll out, and cut into small, square pieces. Fry in clarified butter. The dough pieces will rise and resemble little pillows. They’re delicious with tomato sauce or as a side dish. You can also make them sweet by replacing the salt with sugar and omitting the pepper and chives. Serve with compote or applesauce.
