Quark roast with tomatoes

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g quark
  • 4 tbsp milk
  • 4 tbsp, heaped cereal flakes, for example oat flakes
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 m.-large tomato(s)
  • some fat and breadcrumbs for the form
  • some salt
  • some pepper
  • some paprika

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Peel the tomatoes, i.e., score them, and then place them in boiling water for 4 to 5 minutes, then peel off the skin. Then remove the stems and chop the tomatoes. Mix the quark with the milk and eggs. Add the cereal and tomatoes. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Grease a loaf pan and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Pour the mixture into the pan and bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes. Remove the roast from the pan and turn it out.
