Tarte flambée with feta, walnuts and honey

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 portion of tarte flambée dough, homemade or from the refrigerated section
  • 75 g crème fraîche
  • 100 g feta cheese
  • 2 tbsp honey, preferably chili honey
  • 1 handful of walnut kernels, chopped
  • 4 spring onions, the white part
  • 3 slices of bacon
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Roll out the tarte flambée dough on parchment paper on a baking sheet and spread it with crème fraîche to the thickness of a knife’s back. Roughly chop the walnuts, slice the white parts of the spring onions into rings, and slice the bacon into strips. Melt the honey in a water bath or microwave if desired, then crumble the feta. Spread the spring onions, feta, walnuts, and bacon one after the other over the dough, finally drizzle with the honey. Bake in a preheated oven at 225°C on the middle rack for about 20 minutes, until golden brown. Season to taste with salt and freshly ground pepper, and serve hot.
