Quark Yoghurt and Strawberry Cake

The perfect quark yoghurt and strawberry cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 piece Sponge cake
  • 500 g Fresh strawberry
  • 500 g Yogurt
  • 500 g Lowfat quark
  • 125 g Sugar
  • 3 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 tbsp Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 packet Gelatin
  1. Soak gelatine in cold water.
  2. In the meantime, clean the strawberries and cut them into small pieces.
  3. Dissolve gelatine while heating.
  4. Stir the yoghurt into the dissolved gelatin.
  5. Mix quark with sugar and a pinch of salt. Then add the yoghurt-gelatine mixture and mix well.
  6. Finally, fold in the cut strawberries.
  7. Place a cake ring around the biscuit base. Put the mixture on top and chill in the refrigerator for three hours.
