Quiche in Puff Pastry
The perfect quiche in puff pastry recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 packet Puff pastry fresh from the refrigerated shelf
- 200 g Gouda cheese
- 7 Eggs
- 300 g Whipped cream
- Salt, pepper, nutmeg
- 150 g Ham cubes
- Preheat the oven to 200 ° C fan oven.
- Rinse a baking dish or drip pan, size approx. 30×40 cm, with cold water. Place the puff pastry in the mold and prick the base several times with a fork.
- I used 200 g semi-hard cheese and cut it into fine strips. Or you can use grated cheese. Spread this on the puff pastry. Also pour 2/3 of the ham cubes over it.
- Whisk the eggs with the cream. Season with pepper, nutmeg and a little salt. Pour this egg cream over the cheese / ham. Spread the remaining diced ham on top. Sprinkle a little dried thyme on top.
- Bake the quiche in the oven until golden brown, about 15-18 minutes on the lowest rack.
