Quiche with leek and ham

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g puff pastry from the refrigerated section
  • 2 onions
  • 2 stalk(s) leeks
  • 200 g ham, in one piece
  • 20 g butter
  • 150 g cheese, grated
  • 4 eggs
  • 200 g cream
  • salt and pepper
  • possibly paprika powder

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

quick, easy and very fine

Roll out the puff pastry to a thickness of 3 mm and line a quiche dish, including the edges. Finely chop the onions, thinly slice the leeks, and dice the ham. Fry everything in butter until light golden brown. Let cool. Combine the cheese, eggs, and cream, stir in the onion, leek, and ham mixture, season, and spread everything over the pastry. Bake in a preheated oven at approximately 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 30-40 minutes, until the topping has set and is a beautiful light brown color.
