Quick apple tart with sour cream topping

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g puff pastry, frozen and thawed or from the refrigerated section
  • 750 g apples, peeled and cut into thick slices
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 50 g flour
  • 80 g butter, soft

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Preheat oven to 250°C (top and bottom heat). Line a springform pan with baking paper, place the puff pastry on top, and raise the edges. Spread the apples on the puff pastry and place in the oven for 10 minutes. While the apples are baking, beat the softened butter with the powdered sugar until smooth, then mix with the sour cream and flour to form a thick glaze. After 10 minutes of baking, spread the glaze over the apples and bake the cake for about 20 minutes. The glaze should be lightly browned. Let cool and serve. It’s also perfect as a dessert.
