Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g spaetzle or gnocchi from the refrigerated section
  • 150 g Cabanossi
  • 3 eggs
  • 300 ml milk
  • 200 g cream cheese, grainy
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • 1 can of corn, 400 g
  • 300 g creamed spinach, minis
  • Fat, for the shape

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Casserole that children love

Preheat the oven to 200°C. For the topping, whisk together the eggs, milk, and cream cheese; season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Drain the corn. Grease a shallow baking dish. Mix the spaetzle and corn and spread evenly. Top with the frozen spinach parcels. Pour the topping over the corn. Bake in the center of the oven at 180°C (convection oven) for about 20 minutes. Just before the end of the cooking time, arrange the Cabanossi on top of the casserole.
