Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 350 g flour (wheat flour)
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 70 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 m.-sized egg(s)
- 50 ml milk
- 150 g butter or margarine
- 4 jars of chunky applesauce (350 g each)
- 75 g raisins
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tbsp milk
- 50 almonds, peeled, sliced

For the dough: Mix the flour with the baking powder and sift it into a mixing bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly using a hand mixer fitted with a dough hook, first briefly on the lowest speed and then on the highest speed. Then knead the dough on a floured surface until you have a smooth dough. If the dough is sticky, wrap it in cling film and chill for 20-30 minutes. Roll out just under half of the dough thinly, cut out a sheet of dough the size of a baking tray (30 x 40 cm) for the topping, and roll it out on baking paper using a rolling pin. Roll out the remaining dough on the greased baking tray. For the filling, spread the applesauce and raisins on the base and roll the topping out on top. For the brushing, beat the egg yolk with milk. Brush the dough with this mixture and sprinkle with almonds. Prick the topping several times with a fork. Place the baking tray in the oven. Top/bottom heat 200-220 C, fan oven 180-200 C, 20-25 min.
