Quick crispy vegetable pan with Camembert

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 potatoes
  • Celeriac, about the same amount as the potatoes
  • 1 onion(s), red or 2
  • 1 camembert(s), breaded (baked camembert)
  • herbal salt
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Peel the potatoes and celery and cut into strips, about the size of French fries, but preferably a little thinner. Heat the oil in a pan. Brown the vegetable strips and season with the herb salt. Also cut the onions into strips. When the potatoes and celery are half cooked, add the onions and place the baked Camembert in the center of the pan, turning occasionally. Add a little more oil if desired. The dish is ready when the vegetables are soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Tip: Use only red onions; their mild flavor is crucial for this dish! The vegetable strips must not be cut too thickly so they cook thoroughly.
