Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 800 g potatoes
- 1 bell pepper(s), red
- 1 stalk(s) leek
- 1 tbsp vegetable cream
- 150 g feta cheese
- Spice mix (fried potato seasoning), alternatively paprika, garlic, marjoram
- Paprika powder, hot
- Salt and pepper, black
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes
Peel the potatoes, wash the bell peppers and leeks. Slice the potatoes and bell peppers, and cut the leeks into rings. Heat the vegetable cream and fry the potato slices until golden brown. Add the bell peppers and leeks and cook everything over medium heat for 10-15 minutes. Season to taste with salt, pepper, fried potato seasoning, and paprika. Finally, add the diced feta cheese and mix everything well. Serve with gyros and a green salad. These fried potatoes are also delicious as a main course.
