Quick, delicious smoked meat sandwiches

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 slice(s) farmhouse bread, dark
  • 50 g double cream cheese with horseradish
  • 4 mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tbsp mountain cheese, grated
  • 3 tbsp, heaped smoked meat, diced
  • pepper
  • Chive rolls

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Using leftovers in the oven

Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Spread the bread slices generously with cream cheese (especially around the edges) and then stack the mushroom slices tightly. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Distribute the meat cubes over the bread. Place the bread on a baking rack lined with baking paper. Bake in the preheated oven on the middle rack for 15 minutes. Lightly pepper the bread and sprinkle with chives to serve. Serve with a fresh salad.
