  • 5 slices of Parma ham or Serrano
  • Sea salt, coarse

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 22 minutes

done in no time

Roll out the pizza dough and halve it. Place one half of the dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, drizzle with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon of oregano, and top with the ham. Place the second half on top, pressing the edges firmly together. Drizzle the surface with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon of oregano, and a little coarse sea salt. Bake in a preheated oven at 250 degrees Celsius on the middle rack for 12-14 minutes until golden brown. Fan-assisted oven is not recommended. Cut the finished focaccia into strips and serve. I make this quick focaccia when serving an Italian salad or as a snack.
